Contextual (Keyword) Targeting

The adserver can look for context (keywords) and phrases within: search terms, discussion thread titles, and the body of the starting post of discussion threads. It can then push to the front of the delivery queue banners that have context (keywords) set.

For example; if advertising a microphone, you might set the following contextual (keyword) triggers; Microphone, Mic, Ribbon, Dynamic, Condenser, Cardioid, Pattern, (your product model names), (your brand name), (rival product model names), (rival brand names) The more inventory you purchase the higher the probability the ad server will show your ad next to contextual (keyword) content.

Geo Targeting

Use geo targeting to focus your ad inventory to display in just one continent, one country, a group of selected countries or even a specific city (This doesn’t suit all advertisers and the default setting for ads is to display them world-wide).

Geo targeting can suit large companies that have separate ad spends for different territories or vendors that focus on specific countries. Save wasting banners outside your territory by Geo targeting them. City targeting can be used to promote local events. Geo targeting helps you get your message to the right audience.

Sub Forum Targeting

If required we can target your ads to specific sub forums like Electronic Music and Production, High End, Mastering etc. This suits only some campaigns and our default campaign setting is to display banners everywhere.

Visitors to the site browse from sub forum to sub forum so its only wise to use sub forum targeting if you are sure your audience is focused on a few sub forums. We like advertisers to nominate at least 3 sub forums and sub forum targeting requests must be first checked to viable by us and then agreed.

Delivery Capping

With delivery capping its possible to limit the number of ads one visitor see’s over a set time period. For example you can set a limit like display once every 4 hours per person, or once per day per person (The default campaign setting is to have no delivery capping restriction).

Delivery capping is a way to spread your message out to as many visitors as possible. It only suits some advertisers. Some will like the mass spread of message and some will like repetitive views during a browsing session to hammer home the message.
